Anti-mouldliner

Anti-mouldliner contains an active chemical agent that attacks any mould on the box as well as the pallet liner paper, preventing damage.

As there can be significant changing temperatures during loading, transportation and storage, there is risk with some consignments to attract condensation which might result in mould. This is heightened risk where heating and fast cooling processes cause problems within shopfloor and warehousing environments.

Applications

Anti-mouldliner is best suited to outdoor, refrigerated, and chilled storage and the transportation (export) of chemicals, metals, plastics, and food consignments into different countries that will experience different levels of humidity, higher daytime, and correspondingly lower nighttime temperatures. The unique properties of this liner effectively combat the growth of mould and mildew, which are common in such varying environmental conditions, thereby safeguarding the integrity and purity of sensitive products.

Antimouldliner is engineered to adapt to the thermal shifts that products may undergo during long-haul transit, maintaining a protective barrier that mitigates any potential condensation buildup. This is crucial for ensuring that goods, particularly those susceptible to quality degradation from moisture such as foods and metals, remain in optimal condition upon arrival at their destination.

Adding Antimouldliner to your shipping and storage process, you can enhance your logistical operations and ensure compliance with global shipping standards, providing a reliable solution for maintaining product quality in diverse climatic challenges.

Benefits of using Anti-mouldliner pallet liners
  • Good grip and anti-mould protection that prevents slippage and build up of mould through the pallet stack
  • All Anti-mouldliners have some element of recycled content (minimum 30%)
  • Thinner grades of paper mean more sheets per pallet so potentially (carbon) less deliveries, easier to store, transportation, fuel etc (vs corrugated board)
  • Thicker grades of paper mean better quality so less waste (vs corrugated board)
  • Significantly reduces stock, space, handling, transport costs and carbon footprint when compared against corrugated board.
    • Comparisons vs pallets of 400 corrugated boards (fluting, excess air). Like for like, B flute corrugated thickness 2.5-3.5mm. Users handle 10 pallets of board to a single pallet of Anti-mouldliner.
  • Recyclable /repulpable.
Technical information
  • Standard sheet size 1170mm x 970mm or 1170mm x 770mm
  • GSM/relative to grades and application – 200gsm, 300gsm (two grades)
  • Thickness 280 micron (0.28mm) => 380 micron (0.38mm)
  • Coefficient of friction – static 1.4 / dynamic 1.1 (very good coefficient over 1 – status is downward pressure getting going, dynamic is keeping going)
  • Slip angle: Upto 45 degrees (Tappi T815 om-85)
  • Cobb value 70gsm(water absorption, sizing, cutting/fitting instructions
