This policy sets out Palletliners commitment to reducing negative and enhancing positive environmental impacts and provides a framework for setting environmental objectives.

Palletliners management commits to:

• A commitment to continually improve the EMS, through regular audits and annual reviews, to enhance environmental performance.
• Complying with UK legislative, regulatory, and directive guidelines.
• Develop management processes and operational procedures to prevent pollution.
• Make efficient use of energy and water resources and reduce our carbon footprint.
• Divert waste away from landfill, by the promotion of recycling and the use of recycled and recyclable materials.
• Reduce energy consumption and emissions by using available technology at our disposal.
• Develop and maintain emergency procedures, to deal with any significant environmental hazards or incidents that may arise because of company activities.
• Make efficient use of natural resources and promote the use of sustainable materials- especially timber – through the adoption of a responsible sourcing policy.
• Raise awareness of environmental issues through training of all employees and encourage initiatives that enhance environmental performance.
• Investigate the feasibility of influencing suppliers, customers and third parties, with consideration to life cycle impacts of their aspects and activities.
